Presentation

Pain and tenderness in the proximal forearm and elbow. Finger extension weakness. History of internal fixation of a radial head fracture.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male

Large effusion of the bicipito-radial bursa with peripheral contrast enhancement. 

Case Discussion

Posterior interosseous nerve entrapment (supinator syndrome) due to septic bicipito-radial bursitis.
