Two separate uterine horns are noted with a common cervical canal. The deep fundal cleft was at 1.6 cm and the intercornual distance was at 5.5 cm. The intercornual angle was at 110°. Small intramural leiomyomas are noted.
The left ovary is normal in appearance with small follicles.
Right ovary: past-history of ovariectomy for ovarian torsion according to the patient (surgical report not available).
Minimal effusion is noted in Douglas pouch.
No associated renal anomalies seen on ultrasound (not shown)
Case Discussion
MRI features of a bicornuate unicollis uterus (incidental finding in case this), classified as a class IV Mullerian duct anomaly.
