Presentation
Right shoulder pain.
Patient Data

The long head of the biceps brachii muscle is bifid, located in the bicipital groove.
The larger head of the bifid biceps tendon shows abnormal intrasubstance increased fluid signal and thickening due to tendinosis.
Fluid signal also is seen around the bifid biceps tendon due to tenosynovitis.
Abnormal intrasubstance increased signal and thickening is present along the course of the supraspinatus, subscapularis and infraspinatus tendons due to tendinosis.
A subacromial-subdeltoid bursa is present.
There is capsular hypertrophy, as well as degenerative changes in the capsule and the acromioclavicular joint. Type II acromion.
