Foot pain.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female

Bilateral type 2 accessory naviculars. Preserved joint spaces. No fracture or focal osseous lesion. 

Case Discussion

Accessory naviculars are more often incidental/asymptomatic although sometimes they can be symptomatic - the exact cause for foot pain is not known in this patient. MRI is the modality of choice to assess for symptomatic accessory naviculars.
