Bilateral advanced avascular necrosis of femoral heads

Bilateral hip pain

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

Abnormal hip joints bilaterally. They show almost complete loss of the femoral head with severe collapse and flattening, extensive sclerosis and reduced joint space. Associated severe secondary degenerative joint disease are noted, seen as subarticular sclerosis, and irregular articular surfaces. Right acetabular dysplasia is noted with upward shift of right femur.
