Presentation
Fall post drug overdose. Incidental finding.
Patient Data

No acute cervical spine fracture demonstrated. Subtle well-corticated flattening of the anterior superior endplate of C5 with an adjacent small, well-corticated bony fragment most in keeping with a limbus vertebra.
Alignment is within normal limits. Multilevel degenerative disease most
pronounced at C6/7 with loss of intervertebral disc space height. Severe right foraminal stenosis at C5/6 to see a large right paracentral to foraminal disc osteophyte complex.
Incidental note of bilateral cervical ribs.
Case Discussion
Cervical ribs are one of the more common manifestations of transitional vertebrae.
