Incidental bilateral lateral ventricular choroid plexus xanthogranulomas. No intracranial heamorrhage or hydrocephalus.
Moderate right periorbital soft tissue swelling extending over the zygoma. Soft tissue swelling with multiple locules of free gas seen within the soft tissues of the nose (due to fractured nasal bones seen on the subsequent facial bone CT).
Case Discussion
Xanthogranulomata of the choroid plexus are a common incidental finding. As in this case, when large they typically have choroidal calcifications displaced around their periphery.
The majority of cases are bilateral like this case.
