Left wrist
Impacted fracture of the distal radius with dorsal angulation, some fragmentation and extension of the fracture into the articular surface. Fracture to the ulnar styloid process.
Right wrist
Impacted transverse fracture to the distal radius with some dorsal angulation. Fracture to the ulnar styloid process. Triquetral chip fracture.
Case Discussion
Bilateral Colles fracture from falling on both outstretched hands after a fall from a bicycle.
A real inconvenience to the patient for many weeks even for activities of daily living.
