Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

Bilateral generators with wires coursing into the neck: one of the left sided wires is coiled in the lower neck. The lungs and pleural spaces are clear. Heart size and mediastinal contours are normal. No pneumothorax or free subdiaphragmatic gas.

Case Discussion

Deep brain stimulation is used to treat Parkinson disease and other movement disorders.
