Bilateral abnormal marrow signal intensities in the femoral heads characteristic of avascular necrosis (AVN); a hypointense line adjacent to a hyperintense line with surrounding marrow edematous changes.
Bilateral hip joint effusion.
Case Discussion
The patient referred to us with the history of chronic hip pain bilaterally and a year history of prednisolone use. Appearances are those of avascular necrosis of femoral head on both sides.
