Bilateral ovarian mature cystic teratomas are noted: masses containing fat (bright in T1, T2, and suppressed in STIR and T1 FAT SAT) and fluid.
The right ovary is enlarged, showing multiple peripherally prominent follicles, and its parenchyma is stretched around the fat signal lesion.
The uterus is normal.
Case Discussion
Adnexal mass can be a cause of ovarian torsion.
