Presentation
Abdominopelvic pain and palpable mass on physical exam.
Patient Data
A 158×88×137 mm well defined lobulated cystic solid mass is noted at the midline pelvis that partially encases the uterus and seems to invade it. The ovaries couldn’t be defined separately from the mentioned mass.
The uterus contains a few small fibroids.
A 10 mm small hypoattenuating mass is noted at segment VII of the liver, showing early nodular peripheral enhancement and becoming isodense with surrounding parenchyma on delayed images. Hemangioma is a probable diagnosis.
Case Discussion
The patient underwent a total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo oophorectomy, and histopathology evaluation confirmed bilateral ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma.
