Bilateral Pellegrini-Stieda lesions

Focal calcifications are noted adjacent to the medial femoral condyle, bilaterally, and more prominent on the right side.
Degenerative changes are observed at both knee joints as mild subchondral sclerosis and small marginal osteophytosis.
Case Discussion
Pellegrini-Stieda lesion refers to an ossified focus at (or near) the medial femoral collateral ligament adjacent to the margin of the medial femoral condyle, mainly post-traumatic and mostly asymptomatic while causing a small proportion will have medial knee pain known as Pellegrini-Stieda syndrome.
