ultrasound

Selected images.

Case Discussion

Bilateral renal agenesis in both DCDA (dichorionic diamniotic) twins. Concordant structural anomalies are rare in twins. In this case the history of consanguinity is likely significant, as familial cases of bilateral renal agenesis are considered to have an autosomal recessive pattern of inheritance.
