Bilateral subacute isodense subdural hematoma is noted, mild hyperdense on left and isodense on right side. It measures up to about 17 mm on the left side and 10 mm on the right side in depth. No space occupying lesions. No midline shift. Normal ventricular system and basal cisterns. Normal craniocervical junction. No skull vault abnormality.
Case Discussion
Subacute subdural hematoma could be missed as the density of the hematoma is similar to the brain parenchyma. It is common in elderly; subtle trauma could be a potential cause.
