Bilateral subgaleal haematomata

Headache in the absence of trauma


Case Discussion

Almost circumferential soft tissue swelling predominantly located around the vertex.

Features are of bilateral subgaleal haematoma.

There was no history of trauma and no concern regarding non-accidental injury.  Further investigation revealed an underlying haematological abnormality and bleeding tendency.
