Bilateral painless neck swelling.
Patient Data
A 53 × 43 × 39 mm well-defined mass is noted at left parotid gland which shows mild inhomogeneous enhancement on post-contrast images. A few coarse calcified foci are seen within the mass.
Another mass; measuring 64 × 52 × 47 mm in diameter is present at right parotid gland, containing large thick-walled cystic component. After contrast media injection, soft tissue portion of the mass shows enhancement.
Case Discussion
Bilateral parotid masses that are pathologically proven Warthin tumors. They are also known as lymphomatous papillary cystadenomas and are benign, sharply demarcated tumors of the salivary glands.
