BIRADS 5 lesion with axillary lymphadenopathy

Presentation

Palpable lesion. Discretely distorted nipple. Last breast examination 7 years ago.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

A vertical, hypoechoic, irregular lesion, 31 x 21 mm in diameter, with increased vascularization, intrinsic cystic zones, and some posterior shadowing. There are some axilar pathologic lymph nodes, up to 17 mm in diameter.

A highly suspicious lesion. This case depicts the necessity of regular breast examinations.
