Edentulous maxilla. All the left mandibular teeth are present, but on the right only the incisors and canine remain. Irregular right mandibular alveolar ridge with bony resorption with mixed lucency and sclerosis.
Case Discussion
This patient has a history of bisphosphonate use. BRONJ is also known as MRONJ (medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw) as many other medications have now been demonstrated to cause mandibular osteonecrosis.
