Blake pouch cyst: possible

Chronic headache without neurologic deficits.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female

Dilated supratentorial ventricles and 4th ventricle. No signs of acute transependymal flow. 



Relatively small infravermian cyst widely communicating with 4th ventricle with signs of hyper-dynamic liquor flow in 4th ventricle.

Case Discussion

Blake pouch cyst is a cystic appearing structure that represents posterior ballooning of the superior medullary velum into the cisterna magna, below and posterior to the vermis.
