Blount disease and Perthes disease

Presentation

Limp.

Patient Data

Age: 11 year
Gender: Male

There is clear abnormality at the left knee with genu varum and abnormality of the medial portion of the proximal tibial metaphysis. Features are consistent with Blount's disease.

In addition, there is sclerosis and fragmentation of the proximal femoral epiphysis consistent with longstanding Perthe's.

Blount's with lateral 8-plate fixation and epiphysiodesis of the proximal tibial physis. Longstanding right Perthe's.
