Vomiting with intense epigastric and chest pain.

Patient Data

Age: 45

Left pneumothorax and pneumomediastinum with gas noted around the oesophagus.

Bilateral pleural effusions. 

Case Discussion

Spontaneous esophageal perforation that occurs secondary to forceful vomiting is called Boerhaave syndrome.
