Distal esophageal wall thickening with submucosal edema and surrounding fluid and several small locules of extraluminal air.
Case Discussion
Typical findings of Boerhaave syndrome due to vomiting, resulting in rupture of the distal esophagus and a small amount of extraluminal air and fluid. This was managed conservatively as the follow-up esophagram did not show a definite defect.
