Presentation

Headache. Taking oral contraceptive pill. ? dural venous sinus thrombosis.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female
ct

No filling defect within the dural venous sinuses or superficial cortical veins.

Metal implant in the inferior right parietal bone. 

Case Discussion

The metal implant is for a bone-anchored hearing aid (BAHA). They can be used for bilateral or unilateral mixed conductive / sensorineural or isolated conductive hearing loss.
