Presentation

Patient under long-term corticosteroid therapy. Increasing pain in both knee joints.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Serpiginous sclerotic medullary bone lesions are found around both knees.

Case Discussion

Typical radiographic features of bone infarctions are; medullary lesions, serpiginous borders, most common in metaphyses and often symmetrical (multiple infarcts).
