History of punching a wall.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

An oblique fracture of the neck of the 5th metacarpal is noted with palmar angulation of the distal fracture fragment. There is not intra-articular extension of the fracture.

This is a typical case of a boxer's fracture in a young male.
