Traumatic impact to the right hand, pain, and tenderness over the 5th metacarpal head.

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

A fracture of the neck of the 5th metacarpal is noted with palmar angulation of the distal fracture fragment.

Case Discussion

This case illustrates the typical appearance of a boxer fracture, but the patient claimed that he had trauma at his hand, and there was no history of assault.
