Brachial plexus neurofibroma

Presentation

Numbness and pain in left arm since last one year.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years old
Gender: Male
MRI

A solid well encaspulated lobulated mass lesion is seen arising from C8 and T1 nerve roots, extending to posterior cord of brachial plexus, with thickened brachial plexus. Lesion shows peripheral enhancement on post-contrast imaging.

Case Discussion

Based on MR characteristics, possibility of brachial plexus neurofibroma is considered.

Patient is operated, and histopathology confirmed the same.
