The fifth metacarpal has a significantly smaller longitudinal diameter than the others. There are no osteolytic or osteoblastic areas or alterations in surfaces and joint congruence. Linear radiopaque material, located in the soft tissue thickness of the paraungual region of the second finger, with no evidence of underlying bone injury.
It also identifies the fusion of some of the bones of the carpus (large and hooked).
