Shortened 4th metatarsal bone. Distal part of 4th metatarsal and 4th toe phalanges appears osteopenic.
Case Discussion
Brachymetatarsia is a rare skeletal anomaly which is characterized by the abnormal length reduction of metatarsal bone. It occurs as the result of the early closure of the growth plate and mostly bilateral. Brachymetatarsia most commonly involves the fourth metatarsal bone.
