Brain abscess

Multiple regions of FLAIR signal abnormality are identified throughout the cerebral parenchyma. Most of these lesions correspond with regions of restricted diffusion.
These are biopsy proven brain abscesses. careful review of the FLAIR sequence will reveal abnormal signal in the left globe. The patient had a roaring ocular infection accounting for the source of the intra-cranial abscesses.
