Case Discussion

Brain metastases from colon cancer are usually late occurrence.

80% of brain metastases can be accounted for by five primary tumors:

  1. lung cancer
  2. breast cancer
  3. melanoma
  4. renal cell carcinoma
  5. gastrointestinal tract adenocarcinomas (the majority colorectal carcinoma)

Unfortunately, this case is only a presumptive diagnosis. There is no available further histopathologic correlation.
