Hyperdense circumscribed left brain nodule associated with extensive vasogenic oedema and contrast enhancement.
Brain metastases from colon cancer are usually late occurrence.
80% of brain metastases can be accounted for by five primary tumours:
- lung cancer
- breast cancer
- renal cell carcinoma
- gastrointestinal tract adenocarcinomas (the majority colorectal carcinoma)
Unfortunately, this case is only a presumptive diagnosis. There is no available further histopathologic correlation.
