There is a FLAIR and T2 homogeneously intense pontine mass extending into brachium pontis. The mass is partially encasing the basilar artery. The 4th ventricle is is partially attenuated and displaced posteriorly, resulting in mild hydrocephalus. No transependymal fluid shift. Mild diffusion restriction is evident.
The imaging findings are consistent with a brain stem glioma.
