Palpable solid, hard and fixed mass with skin retraction at the upper external quadrant of left breast. No pain or other symptoms are reported.

Left Breast Mass (Mammography)

Irregular, spiculated left breast nodule, isodense to the glandular tissue, with architectural distortion and microcalcifications in the upper external quadrant


Left Breast Mass Ultrasound Study

External Upper Quadrant Irregular, Heterogenous, Indistinct Margin Left Breast Mass in B and Color Doppler Mode Ultrasound Imaging. The dimensions are 36 mm x 18 mm x 15 mm, approximately.

Nuclear medicine

Follow-Up Nuclear Medicine Study

Normal:  No uptake is observed in bone or other organs.

Case Discussion

Irregular and spiculated mass of the left breast Highly suggestive of malignancy, corresponding to a BI-RADS 5 category.
