Breast hamartoma

Presentation

Palpable soft tissue mass right breast.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female

Both breasts

mammography

There is a 9.5 x 11 x 12 cm large well-circumscribed mass containing both fat and soft-tissue density with a thin, radiopaque pseudocapsule suggestive for fibroadenolipoma (hamartoma) in the right breast. This has a breast within a breast appearance.

Scattered punctuate microcalcifications within the mass appear benign type.
