Presentation
Large painless palpable mass in the left breast
Patient Data
A large mass with irregular and spiculated margin and internal course heterogenous calcification foci is seen in the left breast, which is highly suspicious for malignancy. (BI-RADS 5)
At least three small irregular masses are noted around the mass, inferring satellite lesions.
Targeted ultrasound of the left breast mass shows a large hetero-echo mass with irregular and angulated margin and internal calcification foci that cause adjacent parenchymal distortion. (BI-RADS 5)
Case Discussion
The patient underwent an ultrasound-guided left breast mass core needle biopsy, and histopathology evaluation and IHC confirmed triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma.
