Presentation
Shortness of breath, fever, and cough.
Patient Data
Extensive predominantly peribronchial opacity in the right middle lobe and right lower lobe predominantly affecting the anterior basal segment with dilated bronchi consistent with bronchiectasis. The lungs are hyperexpanded. There is blunting of the right costodiaphragmatic angle.
The cardiac silhouette is enlarged, and the aorta is ectatic.
Peribronchial thickening with bronchiectasis is seen within the right middle and anterior right lower lobe. Scattered ground glass nodules are seen within the right lower lobe.
Case Discussion
The cause of this patient's bronchiectasis is not known.
