Presentation
Known case of pulmonary tuberculosis with cavitory lesions in the medial basal segments of the right lower lobe. Patient presented with cough after the ingestion of food since 3 months. Also complaints of hemoptysis.

On barium swallow outlining of a fistulous tract noted, with communication between lower third of the esophagus and the right lower lobe bronchus with pooling of the contrast in the medial basal segments of the right lower lobe.

Immediately post barium swallow CT thorax was done which confirmed the presence of contrast with in the cavitatory lesions noted in the medial basal segments of the right lower lobe.
