Development of a right hydropneumothorax on the right. Note the partially removed 4th rib on the right as well as soft tissue surgical emphysema and edema within the right chest wall.
Follow-up radiograph demonstrates a drop (caudal-migration) of the gas-fluid level with increasing air in pneumonectomy space.
Selected images of CT Chest demonstrating a large pneumothorax on the right associated with evidences suggesting communication of the bronchial stump and the pleural space.
