Bucket handle tear - lateral meniscus

Case contributed by Frank Gaillard
Diagnosis certain

A large bucket handle tear of the lateral meniscus is present with the bulk of the meniscus located medially, adjacent to the cruciate ligaments.

Case Discussion

This case almost shows a double PCL sign (due to flipped / bucket handle of medial meniscus in 80% of cases), although as this is of the lateral meniscus and thus the ACL is interposed between the bucket handle tear and the PCL.
