Case Discussion
This is a pathology-proven case of Burkitt lymphoma, which is an aggressive subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). In adults, Burkitt lymphoma is most often found in the abdomen, especially in terminal ileum.
The patient began chemotherapy shortly after the diagnosis, with good prognosis.
