History of flame burns.

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Male
x-ray
  • left foot deformity with diffuse bone sclerosis and loss of the majority of the foot articulations

  • destruction of almost all the phalanges with atrophy and deformity of the tarsal bones

  • soft tissue contracture and syndactyly

Case Discussion

Features of orthopaedic sequelae following third-degree flame burns. The differentials are a sequela of systemic meningococcemia or congenital malformation of the lower limb.
