L2 compression fracture with retropulsion of posterior fragment markedly indenting on the cauda equina. Fixation of L1 and L3 vertebral bodies with screws.
Case Discussion
Initial MR images (not shown) showed subtotal collapse of L2 body with cord compression. Our surgeons transfixed L1 and L3 bodies in order to immobilize L2 from moving further backwards.
