Calcaneal fracture

Intra-articular fracture of the calcaneus demonstrates the presence of three fracture lines (medial, central and lateral). All fracture lines are more than 2 mm gap.
The fracture lines extend to the subtalar joint.
No evidence of C fracture line (sustentacular line) reducing the fracture type from sanders type 4 to sanders type 3 AB.

40 years old male patient falling from the second floor directly on his feet. CT of the foot demonstrates intra-articular calcaneal fracture classified as sanders type III AB.
