Comminuted fracture of the calcaneus with intraarticular extension.

With more subtle fractures, assessment of Bohler's angle is invaluable. When Bohler's angle is less than 20 degrees it means a calcaneal fracture is likely, although decreased angles maybe seen in someone without a fracture 1.
