Calcaneal osteomyelitis

History of posterior ankle cellultis for more than 1 month duration not responding to antibiotic treatment, the disease is progressive with newly developed pus discharge.

Patient Data

Age: 30 year old
Gender: Male

The calcaneus shows posterior cortex disruption with intra-osseous  sequestrum formation and contagious linear soft tissue thickening (likelysinus track) reaching to the skin surface.

Extensive soft tissue edema and swelling of the foot.
