Calcaneal osteomyelitis

Presentation

Posterior ankle cellulitis for more than 1 month, not responding to antibiotics. Disease progression, now discharging pus.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
CT

The calcaneus shows posterior cortex disruption with intraosseous sequestrum formation and contiguous linear soft tissue thickening (likely a sinus track) reaching to the skin surface.

Extensive soft tissue edema and swelling of the foot.
