Linear, vertically oriented, sclerosis is seen in the mid-superior aspect of the calcaneus bone which indicates stress fracture. The rest of the study is unremarkable.
Case Discussion
Typical appearance of calcaneal stress fracture is a band of sclerosis within the bone with intact cortex. The Böhler angle is typically maintained.
