Fracture of the posterior calcaneal tuberosity with avulsion of the Achilles tendon insertion, without fragment separation from the tendon.
Case Discussion
Earlier hip fracture was not treated because of poor overall condition. Initially, calcaneus was not imaged. One month after hip fracture, the patient had persistent hip and heel pain.
